RideShare's 2014 Earth Day Photo Contest Winner!

By Angela Connolly -- Today, May 1, 2014, Frank Warnock was recognized as winner of RideShare Delaware's Earth Day Photo Contest. The contest invited people to submit pictures and descriptions of their daily commutes. Rideshare Delaware recognized the efforts taken by those who walk, bike, take public transportation, or carpool to work or school. The photo that Frank submitted captured his daily commute along Route 4 in Ogletown, en-route to Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics in Glasgow. He travels almost 20 miles roundtrip almost every day, and his very distinctive bike with the large safety triangle on the back is recognized by many who pass by Frank along the way on his commute. He is a very dedicated bicycle commuter whose past honors include being named Delaware's Bicycle Commuter of the Year in 2010. Congratulations to Frank for this well-deserved honor! Special thanks goes to Michael Root, Outreach Coordinator with RideShare, for contacting Frank with the good news! Michael delivered the award in person, which included a $25 gift card at WaWa stores!
